Return Policy


In the case of defective merchandise, Gourmet Mushroom Supply will replace it completely free of charge, provided that we are notified of the return within five business days from receipt of the order and the merchandise is returned to us immediately afterwards. Customers notifying Gourmet Mushroom Supply of a return should contact us. When notifying us of a return, please make sure to specify the purchase order number of the associated product.

Replacement items will not be shipped until defective merchandise has been returned and evaluated for damage. All merchandise should be returned in its original packaging with any accessories/documentation that came with it and in the same condition it was received. When shipping items back to us, make sure sufficient protective packaging is used. Gourmet Mushroom Supply will not be responsible for damage incurred to returned merchandise in transit, so insuring expensive items is recommended. Please include a note with the merchandise, giving your full name, order number, and reason for return.

Merchandise returned for reasons other than defects will be subject to a 15 percent restocking fee, provided that we are notified of the return within five business days from receipt of the order and the merchandise is returned to us immediately afterwards.

All American brand products (pressure cookers/sterilizers), Excalibur brand products (food dehydrators), mushroom humidifans, and microscopes are subject to a 25 percent restocking fee.

Gourmet Mushroom Supply gives no refunds, exchanges or store credit for items that have been in a customers possession longer than 14 days.

All refunds are issued in store credit. Store credit is only redeemable at our website and has no cash value. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Gourmet Mushroom Supply reserves the right to adjust, change or modify a product for any reason without prior notification.

If a package is returned to Gourmet Mushroom Supply for any reason, the customer will be responsible for any new shipping fees that occur as a result. Returned packages will not be sent out until the additional shipping fees are paid by the customer.

All International shipments (outside of USA) are at the customer's OWN RISK. We are only responsible for the shipment while it is in the USA. Once the package enters customs, we are no longer responsible. Please remember that some of our products are perishable in nature. We ship the freshest product possible but we cannot control delivery times. Ordering perishable products (grow kits, sterilized grain, compost, casing, pre-poured agar plates) is at the customer's OWN RISK. If any portion of an order needs reshipped for ANY reason, the customer will be responsible for paying all fees associated with the reshipment.
